Wk2 Miscelanous

I kept the starfish segment in my mind and I keep going back to read its words and I encounter more meaning to the lines. One of those times rereading it I saw the value of a little help we can give to others in challenging situations like hungriness, homeless, jobless, et. The help I am referring to means a lot to the recipient, but to a person that wants to avoid helping others or don't want to assist in any way means nothing. That takes me to think about how and when do change our mind about things and usually is when we are standing on the other side, that's when our mind changes in a hurry. The reason is that we are not watching from afar but we are in the presence of whatever it is the case at hand i.e. an automobile accident seems different when somebody had one than when we are in one. So, I find the association or threads to be guiding me to think some more about life in general.

  1. I totally agree that it's not always about gigantic efficient programs, but small gestures of humanity that make all the difference in the world. No one will ever know the names of the millions who have helped out just one other person but it'll matter to the person helped.
